Make sure you do these!

Heading home or jetting off for the break? Before you lock up and say goodbye to hall life, make sure your space is set for your absence. Follow this quick checklist to ensure peace of mind while you’re away:

Turn Off & Unplug: Switch off your heating, lights, and any electrical devices. Not only does this save energy, but it’s also a safety must!
Secure Your Water Supply: Double-check all taps are off and report any leaks – even the tiniest drip can turn into a bigger problem.
Declutter & Dispose: Clear out all rubbish from your room to avoid unwanted odors or pests. No one wants a surprise mess upon their return!
Empty Your Fridge: Toss out or donate perishable items to your friends. Nothing beats avoiding a science experiment growing in your fridge.
Lock Up & Keep Keys Safe: Ensure your room is securely locked and store your key somewhere safe. Misplacing it could delay your homecoming!
