πŸ”§ Routine maintenance

🧹 Cleanliness

  • If you’re unhappy about the state of common areas like the kitchen and bathrooms because some of your flatmates are not pulling their weight, talk to them first and come to an agreement. Drafting a flat agreement might help. In case of emergencies, contact reception.

πŸ’Έ Fees and finances

πŸŽ‰ Events in the hall

  • If you have feedback or ideas for student events in halls, and if you want to help out, reach out to your Hall Committee.

🏠 Guests

  • Check the guest policy for LSE halls here. If you’d like to have a guest stay for a longer period, please email wardens@lse.ac.uk. Please note that wardens can authorise guest stays of up to six nights in a fortnight, and you need to check with your flatmates first.

πŸ“‘ Wi-Fi issues

  • LSE Halls: report issues via the  Wi-Fi Issues Form.
  • Urbanest Westminster Bridge, Lilian Knowles, Sidney Webb: use the Glide portal to report issues.

πŸ‘š Laundry issues

  • LSE Halls: report faults via the Washstation app.
  • Sidney Webb House Residents: use the Unite Students Laundry app (MyUnite app).
  • Urbanest Westminster Bridge and Lilian Knowles Students: use the Circuitlaundry app.

πŸ“¦ Moving out early or changing rooms

  • If you want to move out of your hall early, let the team know by submitting an early leaver form. For Urbanest Westminster Bridge and Sidney Webb, we recommend you speak to the Reception staff in the first instance.
  • If you are looking to swap rooms, please note that this is only possible at specific times in the academic year. See more information on the process here.
