How to do your Laundry: LSE and UoL Halls Edition
How to use the laundry room in your hall, top up your laundry account or report a faulty machine.
The machines are provided by Washstation. All the information you need is displayed on posters in the laundry.
How to pay for your laundry
The Washstation app lets you top up quickly and easily. You can download the app from App Store or Google Play and set up an account within minutes. You can reserve a washer for 10 minutes from anywhere.
- £2.80 to wash
- £1.40 to dry
Report a faulty machine
If a Washstation machine or dryer isn't working, report it via:

Washing and drying instructions from Washstation
New Kiosk feature
Washstation's new feature means you can now pay using your credit or debit card at the kiosk device in the laundry room. The app will still work precisely the same, as the kiosk feature enables any resident that doesn't have a smartphone to use the laundry.
This feature is not available yet for our Butler's Wharf residents.
