Everyone is welcome to attend LSE's public events, where some of the most influential figures in social sciences can be heard.
This term we welcome a number of notable speakers including:
- a panel with Professor Susan Stryker, Dr Onni Gust and Dr SM Rodriguez on Trans* lives, histories and activism on 13 February.
- On 17 February, join us for a special event with the European Commission Executive Vice-President, Teresa Ribera who will take to the stage to ask: Is it possible to achieve fair and inclusive prosperity without a green agenda?
- LSE alumni, Maurice Saatchi, a preeminent figure in the worlds of advertising and politics discusses with LSE President Professor Larry Kramer, his new book Orgasm on 12 March
- co-recipient of the 2024 Nobel Prize in economics James A Robinson will speak on Wealth in people on 25 March

LSE also has a vibrant Arts and Music programme, with a series of lunchtime concerts on Thursdays in the Shaw Library. These concerts regularly showcase an impressive international spectrum of musicians, and now rightly enjoy a reputation for both their quality and popularity. The current art exhibition Exposure and contrast: the Exit photography group is on display in the Atrium Gallery until Friday 31 January
