Exploring Brighton
Brighton Beach and Pier: During your visit, you'll want to walk along Brighton’s famous pebble beach and iconic pier. Enjoy classic seaside attractions, arcade games, and lots of food! Free to walk around, while rides and games have varying costs... we'd recommend going for the sunset, it's gorgeous!
The Lanes: Wander through the narrow, winding streets of The Lanes, known for their quirky shops, cafes, and street art. You'll find independent boutiques, vintage shops, and places perfect for a coffee. Free to explore and a great place to find some Brighton rock candy.
Royal Pavilion: Visit the Royal Pavilion, an exotic palace built for King George IV with stunning architecture. You can explore both the lavish interiors and the beautiful gardens around the pavilion. You can use your rail ticket to get 241 entry for £19 (so two tickets for £19). You'll also find the Brighton Museum & Art Gallery in the Pavilion Gardens. This museum offers a mix of art, history, and design. Make sure to check for any temporary exhibitions or events.
Cultural experiences
Street Art Tour: Bring your camera along as Brighton is famous for its street art. Take a self-guided tour or join a walking tour to discover the city’s vibrant murals and graffiti. You'll find works by famous artists like Banksy and local talent. It's completely free if you do a self-guided tour!
British Airways i360: Take a ride on the observation tower for panoramic views of Brighton and the South Coast. You'll get full 360-degree views from 162 meters high. Best to go on a day with clear weather so you can actually appreciate the scenery.
