GP and other services on campus

Keep your health in check without leaving campus

Make the most out of what's available to you on campus. If you're not in the know, we have a number of services located either close by or directly on campus. Find out what these are and how you can access them below:

GP - St Philips Medical Centre

Your GP is essentially your doctor's office (surgeries, health centres, etc). Registering for your local GP is a vital step to make sure to get the right healthcare you need, even if it's just for routine checkups. You can find your nearest GP by using the GP finder on the NHS website but the one located on campus is the St Philips Medical Centre. They are usually accepting new patients but make sure you can provide proof that you are a student when registering with them (or any GP).

To find out when your local surgery is open and how to make an appointment, please contact them directly. Once you've registered, you will be assigned a personal NHS number that you should keep secure in case you need to provide it when using NHS services.

You can ring right now if you need instant assistance from the NHS:

  • NHS non-emergency medical advice - 111
  • NHS emergency medical assistance - 999

Dentist - Sardinia House Dental Practice

Don't forget about those pearly whites either! Taking care of your teeth is just as important as taking care of the rest and thankfully it's made easy by there being a dental practice located on campus. The Sardinia House Dental Practice is an independent dental practice which offers preferential rates to LSE staff and students. You'll get better prices than most other independent dental practices but still be wary of the expensive fees!

The practice is located on the 4th floor of Sardinia House and can be contacted by:

Hairdresser (barbers) - Angelo's

If you're in need of a fresh haircut but are short on time, then look no further than Angelo's. Another service located right on campus, they specialise in men's hair and hairstyles. They give discounted rates to students as well so you'll get a fresh cut and a fresh price.

You can contact them regarding availability or additional services on:
