Spring's officially here! The sun's out, days are getting longer, and if you're drowning in coursework, your brain probably needs a proper reset. And nothing hits reset better than a chilled-out walk under those dreamy pink and white cherry blossom clouds.
Whether you're in the mood for a stroll, a moment of calm between study sessions, or want that perfect Insta pic, here are five cherry blossom spots around London that are guaranteed to lift your spirits.
📍Ravenscourt Park
This little West London treasure often gets overlooked by the crowds. Exit Ravenscourt Park Station and walk straight into the park. Right away, you’ll spot a stunning row of white cherry blossom trees lining the main path — they’re just by the entrance, so no hunting is needed. Their delicate petals create a dreamy atmosphere – instant calm vibes as soon as you arrive.
Keep walking towards the pond and you’ll come across a patch of pink cherry blossoms. It’s quiet here — perfect for sitting down with a coffee or just having a minute to yourself away from your to-do list.
📍Greenwich Park
There’s a famous path lined with pink cherry blossoms, forming a tunnel that basically looks like it was made for your camera roll. It’s as gorgeous in real life as it is online. Just search “Greenwich Cherry Blossom” on Google Maps and it’ll take you right there.
That said, it’s also very popular. Expect crowds, especially on weekends. For a quieter experience and better photos, try heading there early in the morning.
Wander towards the Ranger’s House and you’ll find a white cherry blossom tree nearby. Not many people visit there, so you can take it all in without a crowd around.
📍Regent’s Park
This park's my absolute favourite – peaceful paths, blossoms all over, and rarely overcrowded. Near the Holme Green Bandstand, there’s a lovely white cherry blossom tree that always feels like a soft little surprise when it’s in full bloom.
Along the Inner Circle, opposite Regent’s University London, more white blossoms line the street, giving it a postcard-worthy feel.
Step inside the Inner Circle, to the left of the Triton and Dryads Fountain, for a neat row of light pink cherry trees. It's surprisingly quiet – perfect for those Instagram shots!
Don’t miss the Japanese Garden, where there’s a lovely pink blossom tree, as well as another one just on the right side of Queen Mary’s Rose Garden. For even more pink cherry blossoms, pop into the English Gardens for extra spring vibes.
📍St James's Park
There’s a pink cherry blossom tree near the Playground Kiosk in St James’s Park.
Cross the lake near the playground and you’ll spot another pink one and two white cherry blossom trees nearby. Definitely worth a stop if you’re passing through.
📍Battersea Park
In the Russell Page Garden, there’s a graceful white cherry blossom tree — though some of the petals might already be dropping.
By the entrance to the Children’s Zoo, you’ll also find two white cherry blossom trees. Some branches are packed with blooms, others are a bit sparse, but it all adds to the charm.

So pack your camera, grab a friend or two, and enjoy the blossoms. Because no matter how hectic uni life gets, there’s always time to stop and smell the cherry blossoms. 🌸
