Move-in Week: What to Look Forward to

By Halls 07 Sep 2023

Moving to university is an exciting time and we want to make sure you make some great memories in your first week!

Whether you have first-day jitters or you can't wait to dive straight into student life, there's some things you can do to help yourself get settled in.

1. Attend our Residential Life and Hall Committee events

If you're worried about meeting other students in your accommodation, don't worry, we have plenty of daily diverse events lined up for your first week that are inclusive for everyone. This is a great opportunity to make new friends and get to know the staff, so they're definitely worth attending.

2. Meet your warden

As the main point of contact for the pastoral team, it is important that you take the time to meet your warden. They are here for when you need guidance and support at the beginning of your university journey so if you find yourself needing more support they are always happy to help.

3. Read your LSE welcome pack

Of course, you can't forget about the welcome pack! This will have everything you need to know as a student with us, including useful information and a few treats to start your student journey off on the right foot.
