Here's the run down of everything you need to know about joining your Hall's WhatsApp Community.

Why join my Hall's WhatsApp Community

Each hall has its own WhatsApp Community, the main space for residents to connect with each other and the ResLife team throughout the year.

Inside the Community, you’ll find four optional group chats you can join based on your interests:

💬  Residents Chat – for general questions, updates, and getting to know others

🫧 Laundry Chat – to check if machines are free, report issues, or share tips

🎟️ Tickets Chat – buy/sell tickets for events, club nights, etc.

🎭 Promotions & Events Chat – share or find out about SU society events and more

How do I join my Hall's WhatsApp group chat?

The link to join your Halls WhatsApp Community is at the end of your mandatory Halls Induction, simply click to join! 

If you have already completed your induction, don't worry you can go back and re-access the link. 

If you live at Lilian Knowles House or Westminster Bridge, you will be emailed a link to join before your Halls Official Move In Day. 

Still not joined After Your Halls Move in? 

Don't worry, you can still join the community! All you need to do is email the ResLife team at residential.life@lse.ac.uk after 22 September 2025 with:

• Your name
• Your Hall of residence
  
• Your student ID 
  

A member of our team will add you and getting involved with your Hall will be easy from there!
