Residential Life Events Ambassadors are a group of hall residents whose role is to assist the Residential Life team and Subwardens with the events planned for their respective halls. This includes helping with event set-up and pack down, supporting promotion and resident engagement, and creating a welcoming atmosphere during events.

As a ResLife Events Ambassador, you will play a vital role in shaping the atmosphere of your residence hall. From assisting with exciting events to collaborating with your subwardens and interacting with residents, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact.

Deadline: 14 September 2026

Appointments: 21 September 2026

In-person training: 26 September 2026

Note: You must be available to attend mandatory in-person induction and training on Saturday, 26 September 2026.

Contract type: You will be appointed as a ResLife Events Ambassador for the duration of your halls contract for the 2026-27 academic year.

Recognition: As a thank-you for the time and energy you give to your hall community, you will receive digital reward vouchers redeemable at many UK retailers and shops to the value of £50 per month in recognition of your contribution to supporting hall events (upto 3 events per month).

Eligibility criteria: 

  • full-time registered 2026-27 LSE student (essential)
  • 2026-27 LSE student residing in the hall you choose to be an Events Ambassador at (essential)
    please note: this role does not apply to UoL halls of residence
  • previous experience in event planning and delivery, hospitality and/or customer-facing service roles (desirable)

  • the application form includes uploading a short video of yourself responding to a relevant question with a clear prompt
  • ensure you are available to attend mandatory training on the above mentioned date and meet the essential criteria mentioned above
