Join us for a football session at Burgess Park!
ResLife Thursday Night Football is for fun and fitness, all skill levels are welcome!
These weekly football sessions are open to all students living in halls.
Purchasing a ticket via Eventbrite (see below) guarantees you a place in a team. There will be 4 teams of 8 players, mixed to ensure each team has enough numbers, playing on a winner-stays-on system.
Spaces are limited, so make sure you book your place in advance.

Date: Select Thursdays at 9pm (see timeslots below)
Time: 9pm to 10pm (please arrive at 8:45pm for team allocations and to warm-up with your team)
Price: £2.00 per session
Location: Burgess Park Community Sports Centre (106 Cobourg Road, London, SE5 0JD)

You must read our terms and conditions below before booking on to any of our events:
- It is mandatory to bring your LSE ID, as it will be checked against your ticket.
- Tickets are non-transferable and only for use by the named person on the ticket.
- Refund requests made on the day of the event will NOT be given.
Good to know
- Arrive 15 minutes early for warm-up, team selection, and kick-off.
- Astro boots and moulded plastic studs are allowed. NO metal studs.
- Football and bibs will be provided

FAQs
LSE ResLife events are ONLY for 2026/2027 Hall Residents.
- Tickets are non-transferable and only for use by the named person on the ticket.
- LSE ID matching your ticket will need to be shown at the start of the event.
- Ticket sales end 48 hours prior to the start of the event.
The London School of Economics reserves the right to modify or cancel any event due to unforeseen circumstances.
Please note the following refund conditions:
- If you cannot attend an event, full refunds will be given to requests submitted within 48 hours of making the booking.
- Refund requests after this will be subject to a fee (per Eventbrite's policy.)
- No refunds will be given to requests made within 24 hours of the event start time.
- Refunds will be processed with 7 working days and may be subject to a booking/cancellation fee.
If you don't want to be featured, please inform a member of the Residential Life team present at the event.
We have photographers and videographers at some of our events to capture footage to share online and for use in future promotional materials.
