Unsure of how to see in the New Year? Here are some suggestions near LSE halls...
Fireworks 🎆
The iconic London NYE fireworks are one of the biggest shows in the world, with tens of thousands of pyrotechnics. Tickets are from £20 and you will be allocated one of the viewing stations between Westminster bridge and Waterloo bridge.
Tickets are often expensive and hard to come by, but you can enjoy a clear view from many rooftop restaurants and bars nearby. For the best views you can also book onto a Thames boat tour🛥️
There are also many ways you can enjoy the fireworks on a budget, with excellent views from Primrose Hill if you're prepared to brave the cold!
Silent Disco at the Natural History Museum 🦕
Featuring live music and multiple DJs, experience the Natural History Museum after dark. Tickets give you access to bars, music and interactive science content. This is an incredibly unique experience to explore the exhibits and party all in one evening! 🪩

NYE at Somerset House💃
Somerset House are hosting the UK's first queer pan-Asian performance collective, The Bitten Peach, for a fabulous evening of cabaret, burlesque, drag and belly-dancing.
There will be food and drink pop-ups, ice skating and a good view of the fireworks from their riverside terrace at midnight!

The Piano Works (Covent Garden & Farringdon) 🎹
At the Piano Works you will be entertained for the night by singing waiters, a house band and multiple DJs.
Tickets include a 3 course set menu with prosecco, with dinner slots starting at either 5pm or 7.30pm.
This is set to be a night of dancing in the new year!

Brewdog Waterloo 🍻
Spreading across 2 floors, Brewdog Waterloo is both a fun and affordable place to spend NYE.
As well as 60 taps of craft beer, there will be cocktails, beer towers and donut ice-cream sandwiches.This is another great place to watch the fireworks from, and has other fun activities for the evening such as bowling, a photo booth, a secret cocktail bar, live acts and a DJ!
This comes in at one of the most affordable NYE celebrations in London, starting from £20 a ticket.
New Year's Day Parade
If you recover from the night before in time, it is worth checking out the London New Years Day Parade.
The parade has marching bands from around the world, dancers, acrobats, musicians, cheerleaders, totalling over 10,000 performers!
It is taking place between 1pm-3.30pm, but has a Street Food Village you can visit throughout the day.
This is a charity event, so while the parade is free there are some paid grandstands at Waterloo Place which open at 12pm.
