1) The Neva π₯
π7 Camden Passage, N1 8EA
πΆββοΈ13 minute walk, near Angel Station
β° 8am - 6pm, everyday
My favorite part about Neva is the beautiful upstairs seating area, decorated with plants and large windows to let the sunlight in. No laptops allowed on weekends but an amazing study spot during the week.
2) Gibson's Coffee Company π
π24 Penton Street, N1 9PS
πΆββοΈ11 minute walk, near Chapel Market
β° 7:30am - 3:30pm on weekdays; 8am - 3:30pm on Saturday; 9am - 2:30pm on Sunday
The interior of Gibson's is small, but it's a beloved local spot with delicious drinks and without a doubt, the kindest baristas I've encountered in London. Make sure to get a stamp card if you plan on frequenting!

3) Frequency Coffee π΅
π13 Camden Passage, N1 8EA

Fequency Angel has plenty of seating both upstairs and downstairs making it a great study spot.
4) Devotion βοΈ
π55 Rosebery Avenue, EC1R 4SD
πΆββοΈ5 minute walk, on the way to LSE
β° 7am - 5pm on weekdays; 8am - 5pm on Saturday; 9am - 5pm on Sunday
Perfect to pickup on your way to class from Rosebery! Small interior so best to takeaway.
5) Zeit fur Brot π₯
π1 Islington High St, N1 9LQ
πΆββοΈ9 minute walk, near Angel Station
β° 7am - 8pm on weekdays; 8am - 8pm on weekends
Zeit fur Brot stays open until 8pm, which is much later than most coffee shops. I recommend checking out their Too Good To Go, which usually comes with a loaf of bread (I slice and freeze it) and some pastries.
6) Katsute 100 π«
π100 Islington High St, N1 8EG
πΆββοΈ12 minute walk, near Angel Station
β° 11am - 8pm on weekdays; 10am - 8pm on weekends
Admittedly, I haven't tried Katsute because both times I passed by there were no available seats. If you're not a coffee person this is a great alternative as they have high-quality matcha and hojicha, and beautiful Japanese cakes.
