Peer Supporters at the LSE are a group of trained student volunteers dedicated to offering a confidential and non-judgmental listening space to their fellow students. They play a crucial role in the well-being of the LSE student community by providing support for any issues, big or small.
- Empowering Role: Peer Supporters empower students by listening and providing support, helping them overcome worries and inspiring them to assist others.
- Inclusivity: The scheme is fully inclusive, available to all students, and encourages reaching out as a sign of strength.
- Confidentiality: Conversations with Peer Supporters are confidential, with certain exceptions for safety reasons.
- Support Range: They can help with a variety of issues and signpost to other services for more specialized support.
