The Best Latin Parties in London

Reggaeton, salsa and pure joy under one roof

After Bad Bunny’s halftime show, it feels like the whole world suddenly fell in love with Latin music. And honestly, I’m here for it.

For me, Latin music is pure magic. It’s joy, it’s energy, it’s that irresistible rhythm that makes your shoulders move before your brain even realises what’s happening. So if you’re one of the many new Latin music lovers, here are the best Latin parties I’ve personally tried and tested in London.

1. Bresh

Bresh describes itself on Instagram as “The most beautiful party in the world”, and in my opinion, that’s not an exaggeration.

I’ve been to Bresh in Colombia, Spain, and London (I even celebrated my birthday at the London one), and every single time it delivered. The music is iconic: expect throwback anthems like “Rebelde” and “Atrévete” (my Latin people know exactly what I’m talking about), mixed with pop hits and a few unexpected surprises. The last time I went, they even had a techno room, so it’s a proper crossover experience with Latin music at its heart.

It’s not a weekly party, so you can’t just show up every weekend. My advice? Follow them on Instagram and keep an eye on their dates.

Price: First release tickets start at £20, final release is around £30, and VIP tickets are about £50. They sometimes do 2-for-£20 deals, so stay alert on their stories.

Location: In London, it’s usually at Ministry of Sound in Elephant & Castle (though venues can change). It’s about a 15 minute bus ride from Robeson House, Sidney Webb House, Butler's Wharf, Bankside House and urbanest Westminster Bridge.

2. Mestizo

Mestizo is a Mexican restaurant and tequila bar that turns into a Latin party every Thursday. I’ve gone with my Latin friends, and we all loved it. The music is great, the energy is high, and the crowd is always ready to dance. I’ve heard the food is amazing too (still on my bucket list), and during the day they even have a Mexican market. I’m personally very excited to try the famous Mexican spicy sweets.

They only host the party on Thursdays, so maybe save it for the break or spring break when you don’t have class. I refuse to be blamed for anyone missing a 9am lecture. I am, in fact, a very responsible girl.

Price: £10 entry (cash only).

Location: In Camden, around a 15 minute walk from Carr-Saunders Hall and a 15 minute tube ride from High Holborn.

3. La Pollera Colora

I’ve only been once, and I was 100% sober, which says a lot because I still had the best time.

Compared to other Latin parties, it felt perfectly balanced: busy enough to create an amazing atmosphere, but with enough space to actually dance. The DJ was so good that every time I thought about going home, he played another absolute banger and I stayed.

There are two areas. The ground floor has salsa and merengue for those ready to show off their moves and the basement has a bit of everything for everyone with a focus on latin music.

Price: £15 at the door (cash or card). On Thursdays, women enter free and men pay £5.

Location: Near London Bridge, about a 15 minute walk from Bankside House and Butler's Wharf and a 15 minute bus ride from Robeson House and Westminster Bridge.

I genuinely think everyone should go to a Latin party at least once in their life.

I know what you’re thinking: “But I don’t know how to dance.” Here’s a secret: neither do half the people there and no one cares. It’s not a competition. It’s about the music, the energy, and the feeling.

If you’re Latin, it’s a beautiful way to reconnect with the songs you grew up with. If you’re not, it’s your chance to discover new music and experience a different cultural way of partying.

And honestly? In a city like London, where cultures from all over the world collide, there’s no better place to start.

Now go dance.
