Alongside Green Impact, the Sustainable Halls Campaign focuses on behaviour change and student engagement in halls. It rewards communities that go beyond the checklist, bringing residents together to live more sustainably.
From creative campaigns to simple, effective initiatives in kitchens and common rooms, these winners have helped make LSE halls greener and more community focused.

By living in LSE Halls, you are automatically part of the competition.
LSE Halls and the Sustainability team work with SOS-UK to offer activities such as webinars, competitions, pledges and recycling audits.
Each hall earns points based on how engaged residents are and how well they perform in these activities.
Behind the scenes, the Sustainability team tracks performance across the year and shares the final results at the end of the campaign, when the winning halls are confirmed.
