Recipes

1.     Asian-inspired Dressing 🥡

  1. Mix 1 tbsp of peanut butter, 1.5 tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tbsp of water, and a dash of any seasonings/sauces of your choice (salt/pepper/garlic powder/chili flakes/sriracha etc. would work great!) for a quick dressing.
  2. Cook any noodles / frozen vegetables according to package instructions.

2.     Tomato and Bean Soup 🍅

  1. In a pot, heat a bit of olive oil over medium heat. Add canned tomatoes and beans (undrained) to the pot.
  2. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
  3. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until heated through and the flavours meld. Enjoy!

3.     Quick Pasta 🍝

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside (don't forget to reserve some of the pasta water!)
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and add any seasonings you have on hand (garlic powder, salt, pepper, chilli flakes).  Sauté for a minute.
  3. If you're using canned tomatoes, add them to the pan and lightly crush them with a fork or spoon. If you're using tomato paste, dilute it with a little pasta water and add to the pan.
  4. Adjust the seasoning with additional salt, pepper, or other spices if necessary.
  5. Simmer the tomato sauce for about 5-10 minutes, toss in the cooked pasta, and serve! Optionally add some cheese if you have any on hand.
