Join us for summer's day out in Kensington
Take in a summer's day in London and spend the afternoon in an iconic park, followed by a historic museum.
Kensington Gardens is one of London's eight Royal Parks and surrounds Kensington Palace, the official London residence of several British royals.
The V&A Museum in South Kensington is a historic creative hub for art, culture and design and is itself an iconic part of London's architecture.

You'll be greeted by your ResLife Officer, holding the multi-coloured umbrella.

- It is mandatory to bring your LSE ID, as it will be checked against your ticket
- Tickets are non-transferable and only for use by the named person on the ticket
- Refund requests made on the day of the event will NOT be given
Itinerary
- Meet us at The Albert Memorial in Kensington Gardens at 12:15pm.
- You will have up to 3 hours to explore Kensington Gardens on your own. Some significant attractions are: Kensington Palace, Diana Princess of Wales Sunken Garden, the Round Pond, Italian Gardens, Peter Pan Statue.
- The ResLife Officer will be available for an hour to facilitate a Connect and Support session for anyone who would like to share feedback regarding the event (or any past event, or ideas/requests for future events), have a chat and some company over coffee, or maybe even make a friend/meet a ResLife events buddy to plan future trips together.
[Ask your attending ResLife officer for more information (timings, location) and what to expect on the day of the trip] - We will gather at The Albert Memorial at 3pm before we make our way to the V&A Museum. You will have approximately 2 hours to explore the museum installations, exhibits and architecture.

The London School of Economics reserves the right to modify or cancel any event due to unforeseen circumstances.
If you cannot attend an event, please let us know within 48 hours of MAKING your booking, and we will offer a full refund.
Please note the following refund conditions:
- Bookings made 24 hours before the event will be non-refundable.
- Refund requests made less than 24 hours before the event or on the day of the event will NOT be accepted.
- Refund requests made outside of the 48 hour period will be considered on a case-by-case, and supporting evidence may also be requested.
- Refunds will be processed within 7 working days and are subject to a booking/cancellation fee.
Tickets are non-transferable and only for use by the named person on the ticket. LSE ID matching your ticket will need to be shown when boarding.
LSE ResLife events are ONLY for 2025/26 hall residents.
We have photographers and filmmakers at some of our events to capture footage to share online and for use in future promotional materials. If you don't want to be featured, please inform a member of the Residential Life team.
