Give your input on the future of Bankside House

About this event

Join us for an informal, workshop‑style session where you can view the emerging plans, share your experiences, and tell us what matters most in designing a future Bankside House. And yes - there will be pizza!

During the session, we’ll explore:

  • What currently works well at Bankside House
  • What could be improved for future residents
  • What you’d like to see in a replacement building
  • How shared spaces can better support student life, community, and wellbeing

This is not a formal presentation - just an open conversation, a chance to ask questions, and an opportunity to influence the future student experience at LSE.

Date: 28 January 2026

Time: 6:00pm - 7:30pm

Price: Free

Location: 8th Floor Bankside House

Why should you join us?

LSE, together with development partners Bouygues/Equitix, has submitted plans to redevelop Bankside House. This project aims to create a modern, welcoming student residence with improved shared spaces, active ground‑floor uses, and a stronger connection to the local community.

We want students to help shape what comes next.
