Calling Sidney Webb House, Bankside House, Butler's Wharf Residence, Robeson House and Urbanest Westminster Bridge residents: in a city like London, where everything is expensive, working out outdoors in Southwark doesn't have to cost a penny! In addition, the Council offers many options to work out for free or at a reduced rate. Below, I listed some of my favourite places to work out for free.
Go for a run by the River Thames. Running by the river offers one of the most breathtaking views of London, no matter where you start from. If you need some inspiration, you can follow the Jubilee Greenway or the Thames path; look out for glass pavement slabs on the ground and follow the paths.
📍If unsure where to start your run from, Butler's Wharf Residence, Bankside House or Urbanest Westminster Bridge residences are a good place to start!

📍The gym is located just a couple of minutes walk from Elephant & Castle Underground Station and a fifteen minutes walk from both Sidney Webb House and Robeson House.
Play Table Tennis in Southwark park, please not that you have to bring your own bat and balls. More information below:
📍Southwark Park is a ten minutes walk from Bermondsey Underground station, the nearest hall is Butler's Wharf.
Check out the complete list of all the parks and Green Spaces in Southwark and enjoy some time outdoors; even if working out is not your thing, you can always relax or read a book there.

Workout at an outdoor gym; the council has several outdoor gyms across Southwark. Although you might not find the same comfort as indoor ones, it's a nice way to work out outdoors and enjoy the sun.
