Bad Moon Café♟️

Conveniently located under Sidney Webb, Bad Moon Café makes an excellent study spot.

Bad Moon specialises in board games and Warhammer. However, if this isn't your thing, it is still a great place to work or relax. They have a great range of drinks at affordable prices, including coffee, chai and iced drinks. They also serve pizza, sandwiches and fresh bakery items.

London Grind, London Bridge 🥞

Open from 7.30, London Grind is a great option for an early breakfast nearby. They serve loads of great breakfast and brunch options, from acai bowls and French toast to breakfast burritos and huevos rancheros. They also have an excellent range of vegan and gluten-free options.

As well as an extensive range of coffee, they do matcha, beetroot, turmeric, chai and charcoal lattes for those who want to try something new.

Kinder Kitchen, Bartholomew St 🥐

Only a few minutes away from Sidney Webb, Kinder Kitchen is the best place nearby to get a plant-based breakfast or brunch.

Their vegan full English is one of the only, and best in the area, and they freshly bake cake and pastries daily.

The café itself is really lovely inside, and makes for the perfect aesthetic brunch spot with friends.

Maria's Market Café 🍳

Maria's is one of the oldest establishments in Borough Market, serving traditional English breakfasts.

Open from 7am, it is a great place to grab breakfast on the way to campus.

Although the tea and coffee are not the best in London, they are extremely affordable at under £2 a cup!

Jenki, Borough Market 🍵

For those that don't love coffee, Jenki is the perfect spot for matcha. Their branch in Borough Market is new, having only opened in November 2024.

Downstairs is a matcha bar, serving whisked-to-order matcha, shakes and sweet treats. They also have fun seasonal flavours to check out, and 10% off for students!

Upstairs there is a 'creativity hub' with plenty of seating and a peaceful view of borough market, making it the perfect place to hang out with friends.
