On Saturday 29 March, our halls community came together for something very special. It was the day of the LSE Halls Fundraising walk in support of Student Minds, the UK's leading student mental health charity. And wow, what a day it was!
Students and staff from across our residences laced up their walking shoes, filled their water bottles, and gathered at our common starting point: Rosebery Hall. Participants could choose from three different routes: short, medium, or long, travelling across London and linking our halls. From Rosebery to Passfield (and quite a few in between!), we walked, chatted, shared snacks, took photos, and most importantly, raised money and awareness for a cause that really matters.
This was my first fundraising walk ever, and I have to say, the vibes were incredible. Whether people were speed walking or enjoying a relaxed stroll, there was a real sense of energy, pride and connection that you just couldn't miss. Seeing so many residents get involved, even with an early Saturday wake-up, was genuinely exciting. It was an inspiring reminder of how strong the halls community really is.
Massive shoutout to everyone who joined in, supported, donated, or cheered us along the way. Your steps made a difference.💛
Until next time!
