Indian, Palestinian, and Uyghur Cuisines

1) Corner Deli (Bengali curries)

📍 69 Columbia Road, E27RG

⭐️ Chai, vegetarian curries, pakora

🩵 I first discovered Corner Deli when I popped in for a chai while visiting the Columbia Road Flower Market. For less than £10 my favorites are the  coconut & butter bean curry and paneer curry with a side of paratha.

2) Hiba Express (Lebanese + Palestinian)

📍113 High Holborn, WC1V6JJ

⭐️Mixed chicken + lamb shawarma wrap

🩵 Located across the street from LSE, Hiba serves delicious pita wraps for £7.50 making it the perfect place for a quick lunch between lectures. The fresh lemonade with mint is also delicious.

3) Tarim Uyghur

📍 35 Theobalds Road, WC1X8SP

⭐️ Spicy chicken noodles

🩵 I discovered Tarim my first week in London when my dad and I were walking back to my dorm. This was my first time ever having Uyghur food and I loved it! Be sure to show your student ID for a 10% discount and enjoy the complimentary rice pudding (it pairs wonderfully with the spicy noodles). They also serve weekday lunch specials starting at 12pm.
