Explore Southwark's largest park, Burgess Park – 5 minutes walk 🌳

Located right on your doorstep, you can easily get outside and enjoy the greenery of 56-hectare Burgess Park. Stretching from Camberwell and Walworth to Peckham, there's so much to see and do here from the incredible sports facilities (including a rugby pitch, seven tennis courts and so much more) to the fishing lake. 

Head to Banook Bagels for a bite  – 5 minutes walk 🥯

Known as 'the original South London bagel shop', co-founders Ashley and Dave bake fresh, hand-rolled bagels every day, taking inspiration from New York and Montreal. Just a short walk away, this is a great spot for a bit of breakfast or a bagel on the go. 

Make the most of their deal every Wednesday to Friday where you can get any bagel with cream cheese and a filter coffee for just £5 from 8–11am. 

Dance the night away at The Carpet Shop – 25 minute walk 🪩

Taco spot by day, club by night, this is a must-try venue! Until 10pm, head to Taquiza Cocina Mexicana to share some tasty tacos and enjoy a cheeky margarita and stay to hear the sound system turning up as the space turns into The Carpet Shop, an intimate DIY nightclub that hosts some of London's best underground DJs. 

Watch a movie at Peckhamplex – 25 minute walk 🎬

Known as one of the cheapest cinemas in London, their cinema tickets cost just £6! Showing both independent, mainstream, foreign language and art house films, there's a showing to suit everyone here. They also host weekly screenings for those who are hearing impaired and monthly Autism friendly showings.  

Enjoy the sounds and flavours of Jumbi - 30 min walk 💃

You can find this Hi-Fi music bar and restaurant in the heart of Peckham, celebrating African-Caribbean sounds and food. So whether you're in the mood for a boogie, are a bit of a foodie, or fancy a bit of both, this is a great venue to hang out with your friends and take in the positive vibes.
