Get ready to add a fiery kick to your meals!
If you're a fan of bold, spicy flavours that elevate your dishes to the next level, you're in for a treat.
⏰ Cooking time:
Prep: 10 minutes
Cook: 20 minutes
Serves: 4 to 6 servings
🧑🍳 Ingredients:
- Chilli peppers - as many as you want
- 2 whole onions
- 2 red bellpeppers
- 3 whole tomatoes
- Oil (to your preference)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Vegetable bouillon (to taste)
Method:
- Preparation: Wash and chop the chilli peppers, onions, red bell peppers, and tomatoes into smaller pieces. Remove the seeds and membranes from the chilli peppers if you want a milder sauce.
- Blending: Place all the chopped ingredients (chilli peppers, onions, red bell peppers, and tomatoes) into a blender or food processor. Blend until you have a smooth mixture.
- Cooking: Pour the blended mixture into a cooking pot or pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until most of the liquid has evaporated. This can take about 20-30 minutes or more.
- Seasoning: Add oil to your preference, stirring it into the mixture. Season the sauce with salt and pepper, and adjust the seasonings to suit your flavour preferences. Continue cooking for a few more minutes to let the flavours meld together.
- 😋 Enjoy: You can serve this chilli pepper sauce as a condiment, topping, or sauce for various dishes, such as grilled meats, tacos, or as a dip for chips
